Family Psychotherapy

It is the interaction that occurs between the psychotherapist and a family that goes to consultation to improve their quality of life, on the advice it gives, especially in changing habits and behaviors that influence the relationships of its members.

METHOD

The mode of Family Psychotherapy is to propose an interview with the family, to find and define the problem or conflict among them.   • Confrontation of changes in life stages (adolescence of children, for example).
  • Duels, disability or illness in the family.
  • Intense conflict in relationships.
  • Economic problems or significant changes in the family.
  • Handling situations, abuse or violence.
  • Adaptation to “assembly”, a situation that occurs when joining a pair which bring children from previous relationships.
